About Dr. Vilija Petrauskas

Dr. Vilija Petrauskas is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia (#2375), who maintains a practice in clinical neuropsychology.  She achieved board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP), and has also achieved subspecialty board certification in Pediatric Neuropsychology through ABPP. 

 

She completed her graduate training and received her PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Windsor.  She completed her residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and also completed a 2-year APPCN accredited postdoctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan.  While her training has included working with individuals across the lifespan, Dr. Petrauskas’ main passion and current focus is working with children and adolescents.

 

Previously a Senior Staff Neuropsychologist with the Henry Ford Health System, she is currently on staff at BC Children’s Hospital where she provides neuropsychological assessment for children referred from a variety of specialty medical clinics (e.g., Neurology, Solid Organ Transplant, Neurosurgery, Biochemical Diseases, Genetics, etc.).

 

Through her private practice, Dr. Petrauskas sees children and adolescents in an assessment context where she provides both neuropsychological and psychoeducational assessments.
